World War II in America

May 22 @ 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Free

Memorial Day honors all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, our freedoms.

This audio-visual tribute celebrates The Greatest Generation on the Home Front during the war years 1940-1945. Maybe your dad, or brother was in that war. Maybe you remember it as a child. Or maybe you’ve just read about in the history books. Whatever your background, this program will let you experience America during one of the darkest periods of the modern era. An hour filled with wonderful memorabilia and history.

Steven Valdespino is founder of Have Lecture Will Travel, a collection of intellectually stimulating audio-visual programs on a variety of subjects. Steve has a masters from Brown University and has been a teacher for 25 years in the University of Central Florida, Lely High and Edison State College.

Join us on May 22 to learn, remember, and celebrate the heroes of WW II. FREE. Registration required.  Register NOW.
